musescore upgrade 4.4.0.242390800
On MAC with this latest upgrade 4.4.0.242390800 Musescore is not allowing hiding parts using eye icon. Instead the program crashes and needs to be Force Quit

This is not what I observe eg from a new SATB score. It's probably due to an issue with your score. Could you please attach it so we can understand what's going on, and if there's a bug, fill it in on Github.

On this score made previous to the upgrade I can reinstate the Bass Guitar part and hide it again but can't hide the voice parts. That's when it crashes.

I've tried several times, I don't get any crashes (4.4 / Win10)
Is there a particular sequence of steps to follow?

Thanks for your help so far. I am using a Mac Book Air and trying to carry out the actions you show. I'd saved the file with the Bass Guitar part hidden which I can restore but on trying to hide the voice part it freezes the program and I have to Force Quit. It is happening on other files I've previously created. Maybe a Mac compatibility problem?

I do have a MacBook Pro where I haven't carried out the most recent upgrade and the hide facility is still working with that previous version of Musescore.
