New--cannot copy and paste
Just today, I find I cannot copy and paste in MS 3.2. I always, for years, use the header selection to put the title on the top of each page after the first one. I type in the title, complete with the $:tag:songnamexxxx in the first [odd] box, then highlight it, hit ctrl-C, start the cursor in the second [even] box, hit ctrl-V. For years this works flawlessly. Today--not.
I then wrote a couple bars of music, highlighted it, copied, then tried to paste into another part--not happening. I've tried just using the copy and paste tab under "edit"---nothing.
I then did a copy and paste outside of MS, just in my word program---no problem using either way.
I can now assume that it is not my keyboard getting wonky and that all other functions on my computer still function correctly, outside of musescore.
Please, any suggestions?

3.2 is antediluvian. Use at least 3.6.2
And revert to factory settings

My mistake: I am using 3.6.2 version--I left out the 6. My question is ,why does it only now stop cutting and pasting? Yesterday, it worked just fine.

I find that reverting to factory settings will undo all my shortcuts and customized palettes. I have spent years getting these configured to my needs and I'd hate to lose them if there were another way to solve the immediate problem.

Save them before. But esp. Those shortcuts may be the culprit

I have had those same shortcuts and customization for years without any problems, so I have no reason to suspect them as an issue. If this isn't resolved, I will be forced to start using MS4,I suppose.

That's why I told you to save both, in order to be able to restore them after the revert to factory settings any verifying whether the problem is gone

How do I save both? And, how then do I retrieve the one I want?

You can export and import shortcuts, from Edit > Preferencenes > Shortcuts
Not sure about palettes and workspaces

In MU4 individual palettes can be saved by right clicking on the palette name and selecting "Save palette". This opens a save dialogue where you can select the save destination. Similar right clicking gives the "Load palette" option.
Other GUI settings form a "Workspace". See here for a more detailed description https://musescore.org/en/handbook/4/workspaces.
On Windows the default and any customised workspaces are stored as .mws files here C:\Users\[User Name]\AppData\Local\MuseScore\MuseScore4\workspaces Other OS may differ.
[Edit] Just noticed that OP is using V 3.6.2 - Ah well, the information may be useful to someone else.
