Bass to Treble transpose error in newest update
Upgraded to newest version but bass to treble transposition is wrong. Has been working fine, but now does not change to correct key (working tuba to treble baritone). Have tried using with concert pitch on and off, it transposes incorrectly in both. Single sharp bass transposes to only single sharp treble (should be three sharps).

Why should a clef change also change the key signature?
When I set up a tuba score in 1 sharp and add a treble baritone, the baritone key is 3 sharps.

Brass band tradition - Euphonium/baritone is written in treble clef and transposing. Concert band/orchestra euphonium is written in bass clef non-transposing. Pick the appropriate option when selecting an instrument in Musescore.

Yup. I just said it a more confusing way.
That is all correct. To go from Tuba to Baritone TC usually I can just move the TC to the BC position and it transposes the key, then change the instrument for the range. Something changed with today's update and it is not transposing correctly...or a setting changed that I can't find.

Not sure I understand what you mean by "move the TC to the BC position". How are you doing that?

In Musescore...which I love by the way...I can scan in or write out a Bass Clef part, in this case Tuba. It is a very smart program, so if I then drag the treble clef from the palette over to the score, it transposes the score into a treble clef notation. Until I updated today, it would properly assign the key (up two). I could then change to the treble clef instrument (in this case B flat baritone), adjust the octave and bang, a transposed part I did not have to do by hand. It has worked perfectly until today when I updated the software to the newest version. My hunch is that it is a simple button click transpose setting...but I can't figure out what that would be.

OK, I think I now understand. Indeed as above, I have to assign the instrument first. Not in concert pitch. Then change the clef...and that worked. Phew! thanks for your help.

Or you might select the first measure of the tuba part. In the TEXT palette, select Change Instrument. Select All Instruments/Brass/Baritone horn (treble clef).
Or add the treble clef baritone staff to the tuba score and C+P the tuba part into it. Then delete the tuba part if you don't want it.
