Spacing between staves got thrown off
Hello MuseScore Forum:
On an arrangement I am working on, I don't know how I did it, but somehow on one page, there is now roughly 2.5 inches of blank white space between the Soprano staff and the alto staff.
The Soprano staff somehow got moved way UP.
Any help restoring it to its original location would be very appreciated.

The "a tempo" in Bar 31 has been dragged very low. Select it and press [Ctrl] R to return it to its original place.

That fixed it; thank you so very much!
I am also wondering why there would be 2 lines of each part
on every page except 4 and 7? 4 and 7 only have one line of
each part for some reason....

"For some reason" - the reason is that you put stuff onto the page and MuseScore does its best to lay things out neatly. There will come a point where the difference between having two systems on a page and one is very close and in those situations you will need to read the Handbook and then maybe experiment with spacing to get the effect you desire. Remember, MS is trying to lay things out neatly but it cannot know exactly what you want in terms of trade-off between getting more systems per page and making the music too cramped to read easily.
If you go the the menu and choose Format >Style >Page and change "Min. system distance" from 8.5sp to 8.0sp you will see that it makes a world of difference in this particular score. Another day, another score and a different solution might suit better. Persevere and you will discover ways that work for you.
