Piano Dynamics (Separate Hands)

• Mar 13, 2023 - 02:38

Hello,
I'm trying to add separate dynamics for each staff for a piano part. This works visually, but in playback both staves follow the same dynamic. I've done a little research and apparently this was possible in MuseScore 3 with the inspector tab, but now with the properties tab it isn't an option, and the only way to do this is to manually adjust the velocity.
I dislike this option as I don't know what dynamics follow what velocity value and when I change dynamic, I'd have to adjust the velocity every time.
Is there a way to do this that I'm not aware of? Any help would be very appreciated, I just downloaded the software and am new to the program.
Thanks!

Hi, enter 2 pianos , delete on each 1 stave, one the right end, one the left end .. You get a "new piano" and in the mixer , the 2 staves are "independent".......problem if you need cros-stave notes , it's impossible .

I am having the same problem. This is a bad bug. The fact that we have to score for two pianos when we only want one, just in order to get the dynamics different in the two hands on playback, is about as awful a bug as I can imagine.
