Unable to beam notes the way I want it
Hi, I want to beam my notes like the first picture, but it automatically beams it as the second. (I'm talking about the bar with a tied F note.
Can you help me ? Thank you so much

Hi, thank you for replying!
In the image i attached, I pressed the second A (semiquaver ) note that I want to beam to the previous A note (quaver). I want the rest to be in between. Then., after pressing the second note, I selected the type of beaming I wanted it to have in the panel on the left, underneath 'beam type'.
However, i pressed it and nothing happened . Could you assist me?
