Guitar - Barre line, Capo line
Linux Mint 22, Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore Studio version (64-bit): 4.4.4-243461245, revision: 2232670
I just created a score for classical guitar and am now trying to add the Bar lines i.e. CVI, 1/2CVIII etc. I select the region that I want to apply it to, then go to the Guitar Palette and choose barre line and select. It does put the Capo line in place, but it defaults to VII and I would like to change it tp 1/2IV, but I can't change it. Either I am doing something wrong, or there is a bug. I also tried this on Windows 11, same Musescore 4 version and get the same result. Anybody run into this? I have attached the Musescore file. It is in bar 3.

(In the attached score, I've deleted the VII that was superimposed on the VII with the line, so I imagine you've tried a few things.)
What you need to do is to go to the Properties panel, and simply edit the Beginning text.
Thanks cadiz1 for the information, however, for some reason I don't seem to be able to bring up the properties panel. I have edit element, which only hilights the items and style.
