Chord input and writing

• Feb 21, 2025 - 18:01

I use musescore 3.625
Just found cryptical chord figures after opening a score, I created some month before:
"Bbm11(Am11) ". All chords had that second spellings in brackets.
Excerpts for single instruments, made some month before, show correct chord symbols.

I deleted one chord symbol and then in the whole score. Then typed a new chord after Strg+K the the usual way.
New Example: "Bm11" was the input.
The written result occurs as: " Bm11(A#m11) ".
How can I change this behaviour?

P.S:: In a former version of this score i ticked the "Wiedergabe" of chords. The sound of the chord semms corrct. I deactivated Wiedergabe later.

The problem shows in only one musical sheet. Other sheets are o. k. and accept new chords the standard way.

Yeah, seems funny. But there are SOOOO many stringed instruments you could apply a literal capo to, and you can do things with the same effect on other instruments, it seems likely that the developers just said, "Okay, we'll let a 'capo' apply to anything."
