'handbook updates' in the "recent posts" section
There is no point in viewing the 'handbook updates' in the "recent posts" section.
The modified or updated part cannot be seen in this way.
It's better to stay in the "Recent changes" section. (with diff and hist.)

But yes, I am against changing the current behavior, I am monitoring the tracker, so would miss those handbook changes

I'm in agreement with Jojo, keep handbook changes as they are are in the forum tracker. I like seeing changes here so I can review them to make sure they make sense.

Having the diff output right there though would be really nice
The recent posts and recent changes pages have different purposes, and merging them is not an option. But making each of them better remains certainly a focus point.
