I have a staff in C with multiple staves, one stave Bb trumpet. If I insert a measure, Musescore creates an unnecessary key signature for trumpet to the inserted measure.
"I have a staff in C with multiple staves, one stave Bb trumpet"
"Multiples staves": what do you mean exactly? Eg a score in C key signature for Piano (two staves), and for Bb trumpet?
In this case, I cannot right now reproduce this issue.
Please give more details on the content of this score, and steps to reproduce (and better by attaching a test file).
Check also if you are using the last 3.0 dev. nightly: 10b9111
So, please, attach the involved score.
And after checking, we will close this thread or redefinine an issue if necessary.
Know that it is quite easy from now to get crashes with the 3.0 dev., with various scenarios.
But, as said, we need to test your score (and have a few minimal steps) to check if it's a known problem or not.
There you go. Musescore crashes when I insert a measure (Shift-I) and undo that, but has to repeated many times. But can't reproduce the original issue.

Weird, I can't reproduce it anymore. Musescore crashed (I couldn't quite catch why) and I restored session. After that seems to work ok.

Actually, do a multiple bar insert with Shift-I and then try to undo them with Command-Z, -> crashes

And do you can get a crash if the ties are removed? : scFA5391 ties.mscz
In reply to And do you can if the ties… by cadiz1
No I can't! So it is tie-related.
In reply to No I can't! So it is tie… by pekka.kurki
Yes. The most likely a duplicate (or another aspect) of a known issue involving ties. I check.
So, duplicate of: #238606: Crash by switching in Continuous View when a tie extends in another system
To explain:
1) Load this file: ties system.mscz
2) Select the measure containing the first wole note -> Insert a measure
So, a second system is created, and the tie extends to this second system: that is the root issue.
From there, you can get a crash by doing Ctrl + Z, or by switching in Continuous View.
