Local Time Signatures
I have been working on transcribing the Enigma Variations and in the 5th Variation, the score has two different time signatures for the various parts. Having made it through most of the variation, in the last four measure none of the string parts worked in the 12/8, even in the parts (see violins) that had been 12/8 the entire time. What I mean by it stopped working is that it did not register the measure as being in the right time signature (12/8 was measured in 4 quarter notes instead of 12 eight notes). The same goes for the entire bassoon part after it switches to 12/8. Is there any way to resolve this issue and still keep the local time signatures? Also, is there any way to copy and paste the whole thing into a composite score or would I have to enter it into the composite score again?
Edit: Yes, the file has corruptions, but these corruptions are occurring while I work on the project and I cannot fix them. I believe the corruptions are caused by the time signatures, and I am struggling to figure this out. I am aware and have fix corruptions before, but nothing like this and this (https://musescore.org/en/node/54721) article is not helping. If you are able to fix this please tell me how. I have been referencing the polyrhythm/local time article (https://musescore.org/en/node/254556) but I am confused by it and am unable to find any solutions in it and so I hope someone else may be able to explain what I can do to fix this, if at all possible, or another way to do this so I can keep my transcription as close to the original as possible.

Your score contains some kind of corruptions.
Affected measures must be corrected manually.

The problem is that I can't fix the corruptions. These were happening as I made the score, and as I tried to fix corruptions, more problems would arise later on. I have restarted the score and the same problems occur while I work on it. For example, when I tried to fix the corruption on Measure 13 Staff 8 the measure was fixed but the corruption just moved down the line and I could not delete it.

Thanks! Would you mind telling me how you did it? Like I said before, anything I tried would just move the problem around and as I move on with my project I am anticipating that I will have this problem again.

I'm pretty sure cadiz1 didn't do any major secret magic beyond what's described in that howto.

Nor did I think that he was, but I was unable to resolve something by following any of the tips and a couple combinations thereupon. The reason I was asking was to see how he did it so I can tell what I was missing or forgetting since nothing was working for me.

There are quite a few tips in there. I am quite sure if you tried every single one of them, you would have found the solution. Some types of corruptions are fixed by one of the tips, other types by other tips.
Several measures are simple enough that merely selecting them and hitting Delete works. The empty bassoon part in measure 13 is fixed by tip 6 or tip 8. Tips 4 & 5 helps with some of the other cases. Pretty much any other problem can be fixed by tip 8.

For this case:
-> Ctrl + A -> Exchange voices1-2 (and Back) -> Ctrl + Shift + Del (full measure rest)
-> Save-Close-Reload: it remains only three corrupt measures (two in 22 and the last one in 25): cut the content with Del key (only one note is involved in each measure, so...) and re-enter these three notes.
And for the rests in voice 2 (select -> more -> same voice -> Cut)

Thank you for telling me how you fixed the score. I can see what I wasn't doing was changing the voice of the whole score. Since trying to do so myself crashes the program I'll keep that in mind as I move on with my project in case this problem occurs again. Thank you for your help.

When I tried this, I only moved the corrupted measure around in the bassoon part. As you can see in cadiz1's comment he selected the whole score instead of the individual area around the missing measures and then changed the voice, something not explicitly laid out in the tips and not one of the methods I had thought about trying.

Do not worry about that. Each file is unique, there is not necessarily an ideal solution that would work every time for every part of the file. And you have to be accustomed to juggle between the different possible tips. So, stay relaxed! :)
