empty measure and Musescore crush
Measure 2 of this score is a result of import operation.
If you try to insert measure in such position
Musescore will crush.
How to get rid of this measure?

It's a corruption.
Please share the original xml file

I have shared "Ms-strange measure.mscz". Which xml do you want?

Simply the original file (see below, In Score properties) for further checking.
For the repaired measures: see (you can delete now the second measure, or keep it, don't know what you want): Ms-repaired.mscz

Thank you, cadiz for repaired file, but question was: How to get rid of /repair this measure?
How ordinal user can do this job without your help?

See https://musescore.org/en/node/54721, here once again exchanging voice 1 and 2 twice, then removing the now superfluous voice 2 rests fixed it

Thank you, but I don't understand. You you're quoting p.5, but nothing to exchange in empty measure (reported as "... Found: 0/1"). Unfortunately p.6 also doesn't work - I can't "overwrite the empty corrupted measures by copying and pasting a passage over them".

I just did this for all measures, the piece is short enough, but selecting the measure before and shift click the one after would have worked too

Doesn't work for me or I don't understand what last step should be - https://youtu.be/DSCPnFnQ3MQ
Moreover I have found that if I delete 2nd voice clicking on pause and pressing '7' in measure 17 or 18 - Musescore crashed - https://youtu.be/bjWNx8I9CXQ
and Musescore also crashed even whem I just click in empty space of measure 20 - https://youtu.be/t6FP6CvSOJY
You can get FBM_019-Cukanoto (processed).mscz in other comment

Strange, worked for me. And also does for that FBM_019-Cukanoto (processed).mscz .
Click into measure 18, shift+clickinto measure 20, menu->edit->voices->swap voice 1 and 2, do this twice, then remove the voice 2 rests.
But yes, continuing to work on a corrupt score can crash any time.

Yes, unfortunately, it's an easy way out, which is really overused here, I think. Prevention is better than cure ... And so, it would have been useful to look at this original file to try to understand what is happening, and to prevent others from doing the same experience as you!
This does not prevent you from helping quickly, by fixing first the corruption. But the most important is elsewhere.

Seems to be the result of a pdf import, most probably from https://musescore.com/import, see the content of the source tag, so we will never get to see that XML, but maybe the PDF?

Yes, I have written that "score is a result of import operation" - of FBM_019-Cukanoto.pdf. But in "MS import" I don't see measure in question, it somehow appeared after some processing in Musescore (measure 19). With FBM_019-Cukanoto (processed).mscz is another strangeness - after score loading I need to "flip direction" for last 4 meassures and this change can't be saved. How could it be repared?

See: 1FBM_019-Cukanoto (processed).mscz
(no particular difficulty here with the beaming: you have to select the beam (or a note) of the note groups you want to change and press "X")

Yes, I know. But problem was in that I could not save result - after loading I needed to "X" again (may be because of constant Ms crash). Now after few savings that measures are in normal state.
Can you, please, describe step by step how you have managed to repare empty measure 19 in FBM_019-Cukanoto (processed).mscz?

Already described by JoJo in a a previous comment:
"Click into measure 18, shift+click into measure 20, menu->edit->voices->swap voice 1 and 2, do this twice, then remove the voice 2 rests."

As I told, it doesn't work for me, but I found another way - I duplicate measures 18 and 20 and than delete 3 measures - duplicates and broken empty measure.

The video you showed, shows strange rests when swapping voices, in the same rhythm as the other voice rather full measure rests, this indicates you're doing it differently than we do. It doesn't show you using the menu edit/voices/swap voice 1 and 2

"As I told, it doesn't work for me"
Your mistake is to want to change the voices with the selector (color squares) in the toolbar.
As already written:
1) Click measure 18 -> Shift + click measure 20
2) Menu "Edit" -> Voices -> Exchange voice1/2
3) Repeat step #2
4) Right-click a rest voice 2 -> select -> all similar elements -> same voice -> Ok
5) Cut /or Invisibility (depends the context of your score)
6) Remove the empty measure, but fixed now/selectable.

Thank you, cadiz. I see now, I was inaccurate. And yes, it works.
