No sound from new install of 2.1.0 on Mac
I've read the other posts. I've reset to Factory Settings and restarted (and also changed and didn't restart). I changed the API and restarted and changed it back and restarted. I downloaded the General User Soundfont and added it and set it as default (with and without restart). I've checked volume controls in Synthesizer and in Play Panel. And yes, I've checked that my Macbook is not on mute (everything else, including iTunes, which I have shut down to avoid conflicts, works fine).

It's an idea. I'm a new user, so I don't have a backup to restore and haven't yet found a download link for 2.0.3.1. I'll keep looking...

Could please also check the develepment builds for further development of MuseScore (version 2.2 - you'll find on the end of the list - it's quite stable for daily work and you'll have all the new features, if it works for you): http://prereleases.musescore.org/macosx/nightly/
