How can I remove or overwrite unnecessary custom Pallets?

I wasn't clear enough.

I have saved a number of custom arrangements of pallets, numbering them 1, 2, 3, etc.
When I try to save under a previous name, it is refused as that name has been used. I would like to delete those custom arrangements.
