You're welcome :-). To be clear, though, you mean the built-in explode facility, Edit / Tools / Explode, not the old plug-in for 1.x which as far as I know doesn't actually work any more?

Is there anyone here who has successfully downloaded and launched a plug-in?
I am a harpist and would like to activate the pedal diagram plug-in. I've downloaded it and tried to do so, but it hasn't worked.

Did you download the correct version - the one for 2.x? If so, then did you follow the instructions from the Handbook on how to install plugins (eg, via Plugins / Plugin Manager)? If so, at what step of the instructions did things not go as you would have expected?

Yes, I did download the newest version and followed the instructions. I also found this and am trying to find how to move the 4 plugin files into the MuseScore program from where they are now on my hard drive (I think that is what she's saying). Right now it's in my "Downloads" folder.

I should clarify that I found the .qml file along with the other file separately from the four other files mentioned previously. I'm not sure what I need to activate this.

As explained in the Handbook under "Plugins", you need to move the file to your Plugins folder, and then run Plugins / Plugin Manager. To move files, you would normally use Windows Explorer on Windows, or I supposed Finder on macOS.
