At the moment I have to hide all flags and stem on a note if I want it without them.
Useful for setting up an individual "slash" in an odd rhythm with pushes.

Stemless is already in the Inspector, so no need to hide things individually. We try to keep the right-click menu limited to things that most people would need to do often. So I'm also curious about your use case - what is it you are trying to do that "Edit / Tools / Fill With Slashes" doesn't? You can use it on a select of a single beat if you like.

It should work if you are able to select a complete beat. But it needs to be a complete beat selected, with the blue rectangle and all. So, presumably there is a quarter rest there now, Shift+click to select that full beat, then Edit / Tools / Fill With Slashes.

Using a stemless slash? Not quite picturing how you'd want to convey that. A real eighth note tied to a dotted quarter slash? Or vice versa? Or both slashes? Normally you would need a stem to show the rhythmic value. So I'd be using Toggle Rhythmic Slash Notation rather than Fill With Slashes.

A slash eighth note tied to a dotted quarter slash is what I was after. The timing is adequately outlined without the stems.
I have not explored the toggle option.
