Different instruments for Voice 1 and Voice 2
Within one Score, but for different voices (v1 and v2 ) - can we use different instruments, e.g. Violin and Tuba?

Press 'I' add an Instrument;
Copy Voice 2;
Press 'I' unceck 'Visible';
Open the Mixer...
Use an instrument with more than one channel, e.g. violin or trumpet, addt a staff text (to the first note/rest), modify it to to the channel switching for the different voices, and in mixer assign different sounds

Thank you, it works fine, and even saved as template. With new score from this template I no need insert staff text and set channels.

Templates save channel assignments. I think you mentioned this in the arco, pizz... thread you are working on.

No, they don't, they just retain the channels, not their assignments, as these are attached to notes/rests, in measures, and these are not kept from a template.
But if they do, I'm eager to learn the trick.

You are correct. I wasn't thinking voices when I made my last statement. I don't know how you could do it without staff text to get the 3 voices with different instruments.

Well, setting up different instruments is possible, just not automatically assign them to voices

I start New Score from template, and get clear Score without any Staff text, but it is possible change instruments for each channel via Mixer.

Ok, that is clear and normal, but those channels won't get used without staff text doing the switch, and I thought you might have found a trick for that.

Yes, you are right, excuse me. I need insert staff text for Changing Channel and switching voices. But thank you anyway!
