DOWNLOAD PREVIOUS VERSION
I upgraded to 2.1 and the text editor will NOT appear in the base of the window.
There is no way to force the text editor open -- it's suppose to be "automatic" but it does not work.
Why oh why don't you have a menu selection that will open the editor (not "automatic" - manual open)???
Previous versions worked fine. So I went to download version 2.03 -- you know what I got? Version 2.1 -- the same version that is malfunctioning.
Why don't you offer previous versions?
So what now?
I am going to find another, more reliable option. IMHO this tool is not for professionals.

We do, you'll get the older version from https://musescore.org/en/download#Older-versions
I'm not sure though what text editor you're talking about?
You mean the text toolbar, the thing where you can set the font and whether it is bold or italic? This shows automagically as soon as any text is in edit mode, e.g. after a double-click.
See my response to your other thread. I think you may be confused about how this toolbar works - nothing has changed in any recent release. Perhaps you just forgot that the way to edit text is to double-click it :-)
It is also possible, I guess, that your window is too big for your display, and even though you have double-clicked the text and are thus able to edit it, the toolbar is cut off along with the rest of the bottom of the window. Try resizing the window if that is the case.

I noticed that :-), but in case anyone else stumbles on this, it's still good info.
