Copy Breaks and Spaces
Are we able to copy and paste layout options such as breaks and spacers? It would be great if they were included in the selection filter and could be saved to templates for easier editing?

Breaks and spacers cannot be copied or saved to a template, but it's not clear why you would want to - what problem you are trying to solve? Probably whatever it is you are trying to do is better accomplished a different way than what you are thinking. Could you explain in more detail? Ideally by attaching a score and describing what specifically you are trying to do with it.

I create a lot of exercises for students which are either 4 bars or 8 bars in length and fill the whole page. Having a page already edited with breaks and spacers so that each set fills the page neatly is quicker than writing the exercises and having to add the spacers and breaks every four bars. For some reason I cannot ctrl-select more than one bar at a time for this type of thing, so I have to add the spacers manually.

click first, shift+click last, copy

Unfortunately, this copies the spacers to every bar and I only want it for every four/eight bars. I've tried ctrl+click but that only works for selecting individual notes rather than individual bars.

Filling a page with breaks is done easily via Edit / Tools / Add/Remove Line Breaks, no need to copy and paste anything.
Increasing space between systems to fill the page is done easily by increasing the max system distance in Style / General / Page, no need for spacers at all.

This works great, thank you. Is there any way to do the same thing with the section breaks?

Not currently. Interesting idea, in principle it would be easy to extend the dialog in this way. I guess you are using section breaks between exercises?
FWIW, when I do this sort of thing, I simply make copies of a blank sheet I set up with a text frame, four bars of music, text frame, four bars, text frame, four bars, etc. Because I use the text frames for the instructions.
