Text - a quicker way to do this
I'm constructing a template chart to try and make things quicker when building future song charts.
I've created a number of text items that are in bold and larger font than my default. When I copy and paste them to my template they revert to the default size. I changed my default details so that when I paste the items or create a new text item they are at the copied size. That all fell down when I later changed my text default details back to the original size! All the text boxes that weren't manually modified reverted to default size also.
Do I have to set up all my text items from scratch?
Alternatively, is 'Save As' the best way to create a template?
Thank you,

Great, thank you. I've created a new style, it shows up as an option in the styles box, but I can't get it to apply to new text or even text created previously. I highlight it, click Apply or OK or both, but my previous default is the text applied.
However, I see that if I right click text and select Text Properties I can change the style. I have to scroll to the desired style first though.

Are you selecting the new style in the inspector? You should be able to select multiple text items and apply a user defined style to several items at a time by changing the name in the drop down.

Ah, no I wasn't selecting in the Inspector. That works well, thanks for the tip.
