MuseScore causes all playback to stop
the moment I start MuseScore (2.2.1) it causes all playback functionality to fail (Youtube, Windows Media Player, Media Player Classic). After some time I get reports 'server execution fails'. In order for things to work normally I have to reboot the system.
A really tedious problem. Any help would be much appreciated

I can't reproduce on Windows 10 Enterprise 64bit, with MuseScore 2.2.1 from the Windows store, Have Musescore play, a youtube video and a musescore.com score (those 2 in Edge), all at the same time.

Thanks, your comment made me do some more testing. I now believe that the problem relates to the triple headed display I am using. My laptop running W7 64bit is connected to 2 monitors via a docking station. Audio on the monitors uses 'NVIDIA-high definition audio'. While other programs seem to be forgiving with this setup, MuseScore appears to lock the audio server if in playback devices I choose one of the monitors as default. I have now changed the default back to 'Speakers/Headphones'. Now the sound is abyssal due to really poor speakers on a high-end Dell but at least it works.
I realise that my problem is kind of individual and luxury but still would appreciate any suggestion that may help in getting the problem sorted more thoroughly

Each of the 2 monitors has its own built-in speakers?
