Repeats within coda jumps (need structuring help)
My score has a repeated passage with a first and second ending. It also has a D.S. al Coda which jumps back to this section, takes the repeat, and jumps to the Coda afterward. I've included an example of the structure, since the actual score is an overcomplicated mess.
So what I want is: Intro -> A (first ending) -> A (second ending) -> B -> A (first ending) -> A (first ending) -> C
The trouble is getting it to take the first ending the last time. My example score won't jump to the Coda because it never makes it to the "To Coda". I also don't know how this would be best communicated to the musician, but I imagine a volta with a "1, 3, 4." ending and a "2." ending wouldn't leave too much to question.
The solution I have in place is simply placing the To Coda a measure earlier, and inserting an identical measure ahead of section C, which works and I'll live with it if I have to, but it definitely feels like there should be a nice solution to this.

I tried that, but now it won't take the repeat at all the second time. It just plays A once and jumps to C (which, I'm not sure why it even does that, since I took the coda out).

You need to have at least MuseScore 2.2 for my attachment to work, as the volta-interpretation has been improved there.

OK, it wasn't clear from your response that we're in place where all is needed is for you to understand how I made that work.
So, let's start at the obvious steps:
1. Add an end repeat barline (from the Barlines palette) at the last measure of A1 and B
2. Select the measure(s) spanning A1
3. Double click the closed prima volta under the Lines palette
4. Select the first measure of A2
5. Double click the open second volta under the Lines palette
Now onto the somewhat obvious steps:
6. Select the prima volta and right-click it (Ctrl-click on Mac)
7. In the popup menu, select Volta Properties…
8. Change the Text to 1, 3, 4.. This will only change the text shown, it has no influence on playback order of the volta
9. Change the Repeat list to 1, 3, 4 and OK out of the dialog. This changes when to play back the measures spanned by this volta, it has no influence on the shown text.
The numbers refer to the n-th time playback is playing through this section (not counting for jumps), with reference to the start repeat position. In your case, there is no start repeat bar, so it is with reference to the start of the score.
Finally there is one more less obvious (actually fairly hidden) step:
10. Right-click the last measure of the A1 part (the one having the end repeat barline)
11. In the popup menu choose Measure Properties…
12. At the bottom-right of that dialog, there is a field called Play count; change its value to 3.
Play count = "How many times should this measure be played?" Consequently it is also how many times that end repeat barline has to be taken
This should now give you a file with identical playback as in my example.

Alright, that worked; thank you. One last question though: How do you get it to skip B?

Because the 2nd volta is open ended, it automatically covers all the measures until it hits an implicit volta-ending rule. In this case it implicitly covers all measures up to the next end repeat bar. (so both A2 and B are 'under' the volta).

Ah yes, missed the intro; anyway, works without the jump but with an end repeat bar just as well.

Regarding end repeat barlines...
I was wondering if it is accetable practice to have two different end repeat barlines refer to the same start repeat barline.
I thought the number of start repeats should equal the number of end repeats - so that each end repeat has its own start repeat.

That is not required, especially not when using voltas as alternate endings.
