help with laying out this particular repeat pattern
Each letter represents a 16 bar section:
ABABCABBD
Any thoughts on how best to do this would be greatly appreciated.
I've been trying to use voltas and a DS al Coda, but the solution eludes me.
The double B near the end is the root of my problem really.
Can I do this without writing out B again as part of the Coda?
I'm just looking for minimal page count and minimal re-writing of the same music.
Thanks

Thanks for the reply,
but that just plays a double B immediately I think?

tried it? I think jumps are always only taken after (simple) repeats

Ah, I didn't realize that.
Small problem: there is in fact a short introduction not included in my example, so DC would not work exactly, but a DSS might.
Here is what I am trying to do.

Probably not possible to convince MuseScore to play that right. Probably equally difficult to explain to the musicians and just for that reason probably not worth the effort

I just tried your solution.
It actually honors the repeat, then immediately does the first DS, so you get ABABB etc.
...and for what it is worth I find the notation more confusing as well.
Thanks though
