Have you turned on rests (pauses) in the tablature portion of the staff properties? Is this unique to the Eb bass? Can you attach the score?

Yes it is turned on (see screenshot) and it happens on every tab sheet (bass 5 or 4 strings as well as guitar tabs.
I attach you the score.

Seems to be a duplicate of #122561: Tablature rests are not visible, then badly positioned.

Yep in #122561 the same problem is described, but so far no workaround or solution. I got the problem in every tab-score not only when I export it.
Never observed it in 2.x. So it seems be a problem only occurring in version 3.
Any chance to get a fix for this in the near future?

Anatoly has made fixing this a high priority, so it should be fixed in version 3.
