cant open line properties
im trying to fix the continue text for my hairpin text lines but i cant seem to find the line properties. i right click it and i see the usual cut copy paste, edit element, select, etc. but no line properties. when i go to the inspector there also isnt an option to change the continue text. just the begin and end text. help?

This is a known bug that is high priority but not yet fixed. See #277813: There is no option to change continuation text for (de)crescendo lines

.. but it's fixed now :-). Currently nightly builds should show it.

would i have to reinstall musescore 3 just to use this update? i tried installing the beta update by repair the installation file with the update file because the only options were to repair or remove it and it didnt work. do i have to uninstall and then reinstall it for it to work?

No, when an official update is available MuseScore will notify you. Unless you turned off automatic update, in which case you can use Help / Check for Updates. Otherwise, if you don't want to wait, you can download a nightly build using the Download menu above. This does not interfere with your Beta installation, it's just a ZIP file you unpack and run the program from the "bin" folder within.

Not for me... and it says I am up to date.

So? You still see that bug? What version are you running then, exactly?

To clarify - there is no more Line Properties, or indeed most of the other old clunky modal dialogs. Now almost everything is done directly and "live" in the Inspector. The bug referred to above is that in an older build, the continue text in particular was missing from the Inspector, but this was fixed some time ago.
