musescore.org is where the MuseScore app is hosted. musescore.com is where sheet music made in MuseScore is uploaded to.

!?!!? What does "same company" mean here!? Do they report to a single organization or head? Is one in charge of the other? I thought I understood this, but now I'm not so sure. Who is in charge?

Both domains are owned by the same company and ever were. Only recent change is that its owner changed

What is the name of the company? In what country is it incorporated? Is it an enterprise or nonprofit? Does it own the two organizations you mentioned as well? Does it have a web page?

Wrong info Jojo. The company owning the MuseScore brand and sites is MuseScore BVBA, incorporated in Belgium since the start in 2011. This company just happens to have switched ownership in 2017.

Ah, OK, thanks for that clarification.
That also means it still is under EU legislation, right?
