How can I change volumes of different voices?
Like the subject asks, how does one change volumes of different voices? For example, I'm making a guitar tab, and there should be a melody with a soft background of chords. The only problem is that the chords flood out the melody because everything is at the same volume. Is there a way to do it with dynamics, or is it velocity work?

By the way, I'm using Musescore 3.0.2.
I think I figured it out, but I need to know how to use selection filter. Can someone explain that to me?

For what you want, remove checks from everything but the voice you want to adjust the volume for. That will limit you to only the items in the voice you have checked. You can then click the noes button in the inspector to limit yourself to the notes, and you can change the velocities.

This fixed it, Thank you!
Dynamics won't work on a single voice. Manually tweaking the velocity of the affected notes should do the trick.

As Jojo says, velocity is a good solution. I tend to to set all my TAB dynamics to mf and then increase the velocity of the melody voice to make it stand out.
