MuseScore 2 & MuseScore 3
OK, so I got MuseScore 2, but when I open a song on it and click play, the bar moves but nothing plays. Also, I tried downloading MuseScore 3 but it said "the installation [was] not supported by [the] processor type." Do you know how I can get it to work right?

It's probably 32 bit. If it's not XP, you can use https://musescore.org/en/download/musescore-32bit.msi to get a 32 bit version. This does not support XP and there is no expectation XP will ever be supported by MuseScore 3.

When you open the View Menu is the synthesizer black or grayed out?

No, it's just not checked.

That means MuseScore's synthesizer is working, so you have the volume muted some how. If it's every score then it has to do with your computer. Look at the volume control. You should have a speaker icon somewhere.

It's only that score. Also, I can hear the notes when I click them, but not when I click play.

Attach the score. There are a couple of things you can do to mute it.

That error message on trying to instal MuseScore 3 is very clearly (to the 'initiated' :-)) due to trying a 64bit version of MuseScore on a 32bit version of Windows.
Not having sound is a different issue though, please check https://musescore.org/en/node/96811
