v3.x makes selecting elements lying close to beams much more difficult than was the case with v2.x. See measure 69 of the attached score and image below...
It is difficult, if not impossible, to select the hairpin lying under the beam on the upper staff.

I believe it's more difficult to click things that have other things nearby than they were in version 2.x. There is an improvement that will be available in version 3.1 at #284493: Let Ctrl+click cycle through selection of overlapping elements. It can be tested if you try the laster Master nightly from https://musescore.org/en/download#Development-builds or in the 3.1 beta version that is scheduled to be released Friday.

Thanks. In general I've found selecting individual elements in crowded measures to be about the same in 3.x as it was with 2.x, except for items lying close to beams when it becomes much more difficult in 3.x. It seems the clickable select area of beams in v3.x is significantly larger than with 2.x.
