Linux Update for Musescore?
Hey all,
I've just installed Musescore in Linux Mint, and I think it installed version 2.0.1.
Questions:
1) How do I update to the latest version of Musescore?
2) What goodies do I need to know about using Musescore in Linux to ensure all goes well?
Thanks much.

Try also: https://launchpad.net/~mscore-ubuntu/+archive/ubuntu/mscore-nightly
You can have nightlies installed alongside normal builds, so you can (should!) keep using a normal build for everyday score editing.
See also this post which contains the launchpad link to the stable version as well:

Got it. Thanks. I'm new to Linux, but I'm on it!
Thanks again.

I'm a bit unsure how to run a separate nightly without it hooking directly into the main program.

Okay, so I already have 2.0 and 3.0 installed. Does this put a third version on?

No, only if you want to try Nightly, an unstable anticipation of the next version, see:
