Musescore 3 - stuttering

When capturing from my Motif 8 keyboard, using a USB Uno Midi interface it captures the first few notes fine and then if I pause I hear a loud "burp" (sorry... no other way to describe it) and from that point on all the notes stutter as I play them and there is a click with each note that sounds like the sound a metronome makes but the metronome is turned off. PC is Windows 10 home version.

Any thoughts??

That did not work... BUT.... the problem appears to be in the computer power required... I switched to my other music computer which has double the RAM (16GB) and the problem has gone away except for a bit of the same problem with 10-finger chords....
