How to leave Comparison tool mode?
I have been comparing two scores in musescore 3, but I failed to come back in the normal way of notation mode. How can I do?

turn off the "Documents Side by Side" option in the View menu

Guess that should be added to the handbook...

Now clarified in the Handbook:

And really, we should remember the state of this option when opening the tool, then restore it on close.

...and issue #287708: The "Score Comparison Tool" tool should revert from "Documents Side by Side" to whatever mode had been set before created.
v3.1.0.7078
I exited the compare tool by x-ing out the tool's pop up box .
This left both copies of the score open in side by side view. I checked the View menu and both the docs stacked and the compare tool options were unchecked. The only thing that remedied this was to go back into the View menu and select both the score compare tool and docs stacked options, and then deselect them again.
I know this is not the exact issue that Majeda reported, but hopefully it will help someone else.
