Adding a new system
I'm trying to add more systems to my score but it's not letting me. This might be a little confusing about what I'm asking, sorry about that. It just won't let me add more systems.

Add measure using the menu Add->Measures... or the shortcut listed in the menu. Select the last measure you want in the current system and press the enter button on the ABC keyboard.

The list of words across the top of the Musescore window?

Yea, nothing says menu. Would it help to inform you i'm using Musescore 2 and not 3?

It doesn't make a difference. The menu is all of the words across the top that says
File
Edit
View
and so forth. If you can't see it, press Alt and it should appear, though I don't know how you can hide the menu in MuseScore.

I wen't back and perssed enter on the last measure, theres a little blue arrow thing. what did that do? (sorry for being so complicated)

That is called a system break. There should be more measures on the next system now. If not, then press shift+alt+b for the shortcut to add measures if you need them.
