Error 87 on install 3.0.5
Tried to install on PC Windows 10 (Asus P6, Intel i7, 24Go RAM, SSD etc... fully functionnal) but got this error message on open: "Load library failed with error 87: Paramètre incorrect". MuseScore 2.1 already installed on this PC and working properly.
Does not start after clicking OK... Any known workaround for this ?
I have this MuseScore version on two other PCs ( Suface Pro, Dell XPS17) and they both work fine.

Looking online I found that reinstalling your video driver might fix the issue.

Of course, but all explanations found in there point to an invalid video card driver (has to do with some version of WDDM 1.2 driver for AMD/ATI GPU). I have this ATI Radeon HD 4800 series as video hardware and AMD doesn't provide a driver for Windows 10. Unless there is a significant change in MS 3 related to video drivers, I don't see why this would prevent it from running properly as MS 2.1 is installed and fully operational on the same machine.

One signifikant change is the underlying Qt liberary, switched from 5.4 in MuseScore 2 first to 5.9 (up to MuseScore 3.0.3 IIRC) then to 5.12. And the build method, 32-bit MinGW for MuseScore 2, 32bit and 64bit MSVC for MuseScore 3
