Plugin Capabilites: Bold TAB Fret Numbers
Does a plugin have access to all the capabilities of Musescore, (i.e. anything that can be done via the UI), or only a limited subset?
I am asking so that I don't try to write a plugin which is not possible. My plugin is to make bold text for tablature fret numbers by making the actual fret number invisible and creating a stave text at the same position but in font FreeSans bold, as shown in the first four notes of this bar:

Via Staff properties (no plugin needed) you can increase the font size and switch between different fonts

I don't think so.

Staff properties don't offer a bold version of FreeSans for tablature, hence resorting to a plugin.

True. And I didn't claim it does. But that might be worth a feature request.
