Can you do this with lyrics?

So there's this thing with singing in Italian where a vowel at the end of one word and a vowel at the start of another are merged together to form a single syllable. I'm not sure what that's called, but it appears literally everywhere (see picture below for an example). Is it possible to notate this in MuseScore, and if not, what are some workarounds?
