Remove the Measure Lines in the Lyric portion of the score to make it look cleaner.
Good Morning!
How do I Remove the Measure Lines in the Lyric portion of the score to make it look cleaner while still keeping the measure lines in the Music? I am using Musescore 3.
Thank You,
-Jan

Measure lines == barlines? And you don't want lyrics to cross them, in a Piano treble/bass staff?
A Closed Score SATB doesn't have those barlines connecting the staves.

Good morning!
So I am trying to remove the Bar lines only in the center of each stanza but not the Bar lines on the far left and far right I want to keep. I double clicked on the bar line just right of the 1st measeure then dragged the bottom box up to the btm of the trebble cleff and hit esc. This took out not only the Bars I wanted but also the Bar line at the end of each stanza which I wanted to keep. So my Question now is how to i keep bars at the start and the end of each stanza but remove the inside bars? Do I have to remove them one at a time? If so How do I remove just one bar at a time?
Thanks for helping me,

The left barline should stay put. I think this has been fixed for version 3.1 when it's released in a few days. If you want the right barline to remain connected, then double click the barline and press ctrl while dragging it. You will need to do this on every page since this is not a common request. I would leave the barline at the right disconnected.
This can be totally controlled by the user already. You need to select the barline don't want to connect to the staff below and remove the check from Span to next staff in the inspector. The easiest way to do this is to right click one of the barlines and choose select>All similar items is same staff.

I can't seem to get to or find remove the check from span to next staff. where is that? in the tool bar above?
What i am after is to keep the starting and ending bar but remove just the center portion where the lyrics are so it's easy to read and sing but keep the bars in the treble and Bass cleff for the Piano. This is just for the ease of the ones singing as they don't need the bars goin into the lyrics.

You mean the BARS (vertical) or the Music LIGNES (horizontal) ??

The checkbox for spanning barlines is in the Inspector - the window on the right side of your screen if you haven't closed it already. If you did close it, get it back by View / Inspector.
You can also simply double click a barline then drag it up to shorten it.
And as always, if you attach your score, we can understand and assist better.
