Leaving measures blank

I'm working on creating some worksheets for students, and I'm trying to get it so that measures are left blank. Including the default rests. So my students can write in their answers on the staff for part of it.

Is there a way to accomplish this, or can anybody point me in the right direction? I want to go this route versus doing it all by hand so it'll look cleaner and more legible.
