voltas don't work for me
i have voltas in my piece. Playback ignores them. What am I dong wrong?

You have no repeats. Voltas are first and second endings used with repeats. Put one on the measure where volta 1 is.

I put in the repeat which gave me the dots; I then used Lines to add the 1 over that bar. Still no joy.

What happens? It works fine for me. Make sure you have play repeats turned on. It's the button that looks like a repeat bar line on the toolbar.
