Note with a _| (mirror L) figure next to it
I have a piano sheet with some unfamiliar notation on its notes having a figure of _| (mirror L) next to it as shown in the attached file. I sure would like know what this notation is called and/or its function. Also, I would like to use Musescore 2.1.0 on a Ubuntu Linux desktop computer to play this song, but don't know how to enter such a notation. is it possible?

I belive it is to separate right and left hand. Symbols for this are availaböe in the symbols palette of the master palette, there search for 'Play with'

Got that and thank you.
Since you mentioned the notation is use to separate right and left hand, I gathered perhaps one should play the notes, in this case, with the right hand. Am I correct to say so?

Got that, too, and again thank you.
@habibie , since there was a similar recent conversation about symbols not present in the general palette (to indicate the division of notes between the two hands) I suggested using image capture. You will find the attached examples here: https://musescore.org/it/node/290075#comment-923555
If useful.

Thank you, too.
BTW, your attached pictures, A.png and B.png, on the other post show a blank page. I had to download them and used gimp program to flatten image in order to successfully view it.

Transparent PNGs don't render nicely in some browsers, like in Chrome, but esp. for that there are extensions available that do rendend these.
