Add Search Box to toolbar

Currently the search box is displayed at the bottom of the screen using CTRL+F . It would be useful if the box could be added to the toolbar so that it is always available without the need to press CTRL+F. As well as making the search box easier to access it would also free up shortcut CTRL+F for a different use.
