Synthesizer settings repeated multiple times in the .mscx file
Hi,
every time I save my .mscx file, the synthesizer settings get appended to the ones in the file, so after a few saves, it looks like this:
<Synthesizer>
<master>...</master>
<Fluid>...</Fluid>
<Zerberus/>
<Zita1>...</Zita1>
<master>...</master> <!-- repetition starts here -->
<Fluid>...</Fluid>
<Zerberus/>
<Zita1>...</Zita1>
<master>...</master> <!-- once for each time I saved the score -->
<Fluid>...</Fluid>
<Zerberus/>
<Zita1>...</Zita1>
</Synthesizer>
This duplication looks unnecessary and can probably be fixed.

Should have been fixed in 3.2, see #290323: 3.1 *always* saves to the <Synthesizer> tag… appending full info on *every* save

I have 3.2.0.22758, and it still does that.
OS: macOS Mojave (10.14), Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 3.2.0.22758, revision: 8594c8c

I'm curious if these copies of the synthesizer are left over from pre-3.2 saves. I haven't tested it.

No, I have just reproduced the duplication with 3.2.

Please respond to the linked but report, changing the status back to "active" and include your sample score and again steps you've used to reproduce.
Thanks!

Posted the sample score and steps to reproduce there, but I don't see a way to change the status.

The status was changed because it was called fixed in error. Since it's not fixed the status should be active.
