Hi Raymond, when I delete the bottom bass clef (because it is empty), some notes in the top bass clef get deleted. Trying to find a way to make this not happen
here is a picture showing the strange behaviour, if I delete the bottom bass clef, the blue note disappears even though I previously moved it into the upper bass clef with shift command up arrow. It is still being mistakenly still being associated with the bottom bass clef it would appear.
Reason: This note is still an member of the bottom staff. Only shown in the top staff.
Ctrl+Shift+Up- (or Down) arrow command(s) doesn't move a note to the top (or bottom) staff, it just shows it there.
In order for a note to really be a member of the top (or bottom) staff, you must enter that note in the top) or bottom) staff.
Or, if you've already entered it onto the bottom and you wish to full move it to the top, use cut and paste. Ctrl+Shift+Up indeed does not truly move the mote, it is for creating "cross-staff notation", where a note appears on one staff but still "belongs" to another.
