What went wrong when you tried? You are using the Linux app facility? Others have reported success with this. But note, you will need to find the right version for your particular architecture (Intel vs ARM, etc).
Please tell us in detail the steps you followed and at which step something went wrong.
Which Acer Chromebook specifically? And have you successfully run other Linux apps on this Chromebook? How does it work for them - what happens for them that isn't happening for MuseScore?
That is apparently an ARM processor, so you'll at least to be sure to only use ARM versions of MuseScore. I'd also suggest finding someone who can help you with the processors of running Linux apps in general, particular on ARM as the process may be different than trying the usual Intel. Once you figure that out, then the same process should work for MuseScore.

Hi. I've tried all these three:
AppImage #
Suitable for all Linux distributions.
Old computers (32-bit)
New computers (64-bit)
ARM-architectures
They all download, but when you click on the download, there is nothing to open it. I have an Acer Chromebook.
Cheers.
