.pdf not showing up
Hi,
I created a .pdf for a score. It appears in the list in musescore but when I compose an email (in 2 different accounts), the same score does not appear in the list when I try to attach it. I tried another score and it's the same problem. This is new.
Thank you for any suggestions.
Sandy

I guess you exported that PDF to a different directory than you're looking into for attaching it

Nope - I've checked and rechecked. The file appears in musescore (.pdf) but when I try to attach it, it does not appear in the list within the email. I tried another file - same problem. Yesterday, I had created a zip file of .pdfs. Could that have anything to do with it?

Not sure what you mean by "appears in MsueScore". PDF files cannot be loaded into MsueScore. There is no other "in musescore" - it's either loaded into the program (impossible) or sitting in a folder on your disk. So if you are seeing any evidence of the existence of the file, it exists, period. It has to be sitting in a folder on your disk, and I guarantee other programs can see it if you browse to that same folder. So the question is, what is the name of that folder?

Sorry - mis-spoke. The file appears in my file explorer (Windows 10) but when I go to attach it in an email, it does not appear although all previous .pdf's are there.

I take back what I said. Now the Export function is not working at all. Should I re-install Musescore ?

I still say, you are simply getting confused about what folder. Do the export, and paty attention to what folder it says it is exporting to. Copy that folder name and paste it here so we can see. Then go to File Explorer and check that same folder. You should see the file. Now try to attach to mail, and again, go to that same folder. There's no way it could not be there if you are truly checking the same folder.
