How do you put a rest at the beginning of a score
I am trying to work out how you put a rest at the beginning of a score but for some reason i just can't work out how it's done as i am a novice at MuseScore.
Can anyone provide simple instructions as to how this is done please.
Thank you

especially:

which states: "To enter a rest, press 0 (zero)."

Starting work with a good long rest is always a good idea ;-)

I agree jojo
For the record: rests at the beginning of the score are entered just like rests anywhere else: in note input mode, either press 0 or right-click or use the "rest" icon on the toolbar as described in the Handbook.
