Project
1) input notes as Voice 2
2) select the first Voice 2 note of the target
3) double click the icon 8va_ _ _ | (octave bass) in pallet, set the range (specifies the last note)
4) playback and confirm the notes octave lower
5) save the score (.mscz)
6) close MuseScore
7) Open the score by MuseScore
8) see the letter "8" only remains, but the line " _ _ _|" part is missing.
9) playback the score
10) confirm the octave bass part doesn't work, just normal, zero-octave.
This happens every time in this save-open-play procedure.

Are you talking about those small voice 2 notes in the last measure?
I can confirm that behavoir, the ottave seems to go backwards.

Jojo,
Thank you for your response.
> Are you talking about those small voice 2 notes in the last measure?
Yes, that's (almost) right. The small 3 (not 2) notes in the lower F
clef line which are Voice 2 in the last measure.
(...I guess this happens even at small 2 notes, though.)

By "go backwards" here,
I think you mean
"go backwards as the state I set 8va_ _ _ | after save and re-open the file."
Yes, you're almost right except only the letter "8" remains.
Hope you can fix it in the future :-)

The line seems to go backwards, having its end before its start, after save, close, open

Jojo,
Ah, I see what you mean...
I must admit I put kind of confusion on the score.
I put a set of
"D.S. al Coda", "To Coda" and "Φ (Coda)",
together with the other set of
"D.S. al Coda", "To Coda 2" and "Φ2 (Coda2)".
(the secondary coda is not allowed by MuseScore
and I manually put the letter "2".)
I did it only to reduce the repeated part of the score.
And the latter set is an obviously illegal manner
and obviously it doesn't work as I expected
under the current MuseScore.
Then, I remade the score to get rid of this illegal manner.
Please find the new one here.
I played the new score but unfortunately
I found exactly the same problem
that the ottava at the last measure doesn't work right
after Save and Open the file.

Shin1ro
