removing bar lines
P 129 in Muse Score 2 manual says I can join measures by going to "edit", then "measures". When I select "edit", "measures" is not one of the options. How do I get to "measures" when it's not one of the choices under "edit"????
P. 315 gives similar instructions for writing measureless music. It looks so simple, but "measures" does not appear under "edit".

In MuseScore 3 it is under Tools

So . . . how do I remove stems to have only noteheads?

right click the measure, choose measure properties and check stemless for that staff near the top of the window.

Inspector, select note, tick 'Stemless'
