Musescore places incorrect and undeletable cue clef
Musescore places cue clefs at the end of a staff when there is a clef change at the next staff. Sometimes this is not the clef that I would expect. See my uploaded file at measure 146: I switch from tenor clef to treble clef at measure one of a new bar and because of that Musescore automatically placed a bass clef at the end of the previous bar. This makes little sence because the tenor key was used for that staff and I switch to treble key. A treble clef would have been more logical or a tenor clef. The added bass clef cannot be deleted and will not disappear after making changes to the part. Only the undo button will have effect if you notice the issue before saving the file.

Better with the attached?
I've just removed those 23 empty measures and added them again

yes better, how did you remove the bass clef?: I was not able to do that.
I would like to have a cue clef though but better none than an incorrect one.

first image shows notation that is okay with treble cue clef, made with the file you uploaded, second image shows what happens if I do the same with my old file: the bass clef refuses to go away. I simply cannot delete that bass clef, it stays no matter what I do.

Like this? Don't use a mid measure clef change then
As mentioned above, to get rid of that bass clef I've deleted (Ctrl+Del) all these 23 empty measures and added them back.

yes that is what I did too, but I was only able to do that with the file that was edited by you, I cannot make that happen with the file I made. There is a bug in the software.
How did you get rid of the unwanted bass clef I wonder? In my score it is undeletable; it stays no matter what I change.

Press M to disable multi measure rests, select those 23 empty measures, press Ctrl+Del. Select measure 148, Press Crtl+Ins, 23, press M to enable multi measure rests

Thank you, that works. Good to know for if something similar happens. Should not be necessary though. It is a bit buggy.

Might be a bug solved a while ago, if that score has started its life earlied that in the current 3.3.2

It may have. It is not a thing that will happen a lot anyway but I was asked on Facebook to post about the issue on this forum.
Thank you for your help.

Yes, but much later in measure 150 (and there with multimesure rests enabled too) and after the treble clef in 146

yes but the issue appears when a new staff uses a different clef than the last measure of the previous staff. When you push m again the bass clef will return.
