Conversion to PDF
A while back I used to open a score in Musescore, click file, select "save as"and in the
dropdown select PDF.
Am trying that in Musecore 3 and I am not succeeding.
Can any good Samaritan help?

"Export current score to a format of your choice."
My computer "skills" are limited. I do not know anything about "format."
I am not a musician but I am slowly learning to use musescore.
I want to convert the scores I do there to PDF and store them in a place on my computer,
where they can be accessed easily in the future.
Nobody is willing to tell me how to do that?

Open your score, select the menu File->Export. In the dropdown choose PDF if it's not already selected and click OK. You're score is now exported to PDF. You will need to open it with a program that can read PDF to view it, MuseScore cannot do this.

Hey fellas,
I had no electricity for the day.
So I thought long about my problem.
When I came back on the computer I went to "recent files"
and clicked on the song with the pdf logo/icon, whatever.
And it opened.
So I dragged it to where I wanted it.
But thanks for your suggestions.

I want the lead singer to sing "Dr.Lee"
I want backup singers to answer"tell me candidly"
in a bar with no other music.
I thought that I could have used voicing to do that.
But am not succeeding.

The answer to how to do what you want is likely simple. I'm not sure if you have it set up with one staff for each singer and another for backup or if you have the lead singer and backup on the same staff. Voices may be the answer, but it's not likely from how I think you would likely set it up.

One staff for lead singer and another for backup singers?
I would not know how to do that.
I am using one staff for everybody.
In reply to One staff for lead singer… by cedy
One staff, 2 voices would indeed be possible, esp. if the voices don't cross one another, at least not too often. And maybe the voice 1 lyrics above staff.
In reply to One staff for lead singer… by cedy
Always put the lead singer's notes into voice 1 and the backup's into voice 2. As Jojo suggested, you can easily select verses from the lead singer and move them above the staff by pressing X if needed. This may be useful for your question about the lyrics with no other music. To enter the lyrics on a rest you will need to enter all of the lyrics as a single lyric and use ctrl+space to put spaces between the words.
Using these voices will make it very clear who sings what since the leads stems will always point up and backups will always point down even if they cross or sing in unison.

Somebody showed me how to do that screenshot.
I still cannot put in "tell me candidly" as a 2nd voice.
In reply to Somebody showed me how to do… by cedy
To enter a second voice, start note entry mode by pressing N then press ctrl+alt+2 to change to voice 2. If you want lyrics in voice 2 with no notes, simply enter a rest. To add the lyrics, select the rest, type the lyrics and press ctrl+space to enter a space.

This thing getting me damn vex.
I want to put notes and lyrics in an open bar.
The bar has a two beat rest and two one beat rests.
Both notes and lyrics are to start on the first one beat rest.
I go into Note Input mode and click on 2. Green appears.
But when I try to put in the note the cursor is on the first two beat rest.
I try to send it to the right but green light turns back to blue, immediately.
All the time.
In reply to This thing getting me damn… by cedy
Then you're doing something fundamentally wrong
In reply to This thing getting me damn… by cedy
Voice 2 needs its rests too, so when you start entering, start by entering the rest at the start of the measure for/in voice 2 as well
In reply to This thing getting me damn… by cedy
You need to start by entering a 1/2 note rest in voice 2 (press 6 and then 0 after you have got to the point where green appears). The rest will show up below the existing rest in voice 1 and the rest in voice 1 will be shifted up to make room for it. If you don't want to see the rest in voice 2, make it invisible by pressing V. The next thing (rest or note) you enter will be on beat 3 in voice 2.

Tip of the Day........Voice 2 needs its own rests.
Thanks a lot guys.
